A spindling tree grows through the lake's wound
where its fallen leaves poultice the root.

Detritus of vapor where sky becomes water
like the coupled god abandons its dual.
Nets pull bait fish from the shallows,
I leave the sails flapping
as the space of earth prevents reentry,
larvae raft on acrid petals until dawn.

The weather tower hill erodes into the shore
through pressure of each day changing- she veils
